Southwark Cathedral does not have a choir school and so the boys and girls of the Cathedral Choir are drawn from schools throughout London and the surrounding areas.
There are many benefits in being a chorister. Boys and girls learn life skills such as self-discipline, teamwork, sense of responsibility, communication and social skills as well as musical and vocal skills.
