KS1: Meeting Jesus
Children will explore some key features of the Cathedral to develop their understanding of Jesus’ use of parables. Through Godly Play, they will explore the parable of the Lost Sheep before returning to the Education Centre to create sock puppets to enable them to retell the parable for themselves.
KS2: Meeting Jesus
Children will explore the Cathedral’s Nativity Windows, the Eucharist, a miracle story and prayer as they consider the significance of Jesus for Christians.

KS2: Miracle Scenes and Story Stones
Linking closely to the Meeting Jesus trail, children will work in groups to create a series of scenes depicting a biblical miracle story. They will also create a set of story stones which will enable them to retell the story collaboratively using their work.
