Visiting Choirs and Ensembles
We offer visiting choirs and ensembles the chance to give a day time recital in the Cathedral.
This provides an opportunity for choirs and ensembles from around the world to perform in the special acoustics afforded by this great building. We are happy to display posters around the Cathedral precint and use the Cathedral's social media channels to promote your recital.
We welcome visiting choirs to sing Choral Evensong at the Cathedral when the Cathedral's are on holiday or on Wednesdays or Saturdays. For full details of available dates and how to apply please contact the Music Administrator by email or telephone 020 7367 6732
Music School Undergraduates
if you would like to perform at Southwark Cathedral we offer a regular Tuesday afternoon recital slot in term time. This is open to all under-graduates and those undertaking post-graduate study. There is no charge.

Music Graduates, Tour Operators and Choir Directors
We also offer opportunities for music college graduates, tour operators and choir directors to book a recital in the the Cathedral on most days excluding Sundays.
There is a fee and this includes a 30-minute warm-up rehearsal period and 60-minute performance. The fee includes the use of a green room.
